1. General Provisions

• www.vindocs.com (hereinafter – the “Site”) is owned and managed by VinDocs (hereinafter – the “Provider”) and provides users of the Site (hereinafter – the “User”) with paid vehicle data and history information reports (hereinafter – the “Report”) through our online information service (hereinafter – the “Service”)

• The Terms and Conditions form the contract between User and Provider of these services and by using Site you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions. Without additional notice, we may change Terms of Use by publishing those changes in this page. Should you not agree with the Terms of Use and/or any changes to them, you must not use the Site or Service. 

2. Terms and Conditions for the use of Site, Report and Service

• Provider does not warrant that the information we provide in the Report is always accurate, or complete, hence, the Report may not be referenced as a reliable tool to assess the condition of vehicle

• Before purchasing the Report, Site Users have the opportunity to become acquainted with the expected Report information by doing a free initial check. By doing a free initial check, User also acknowledges that the further information provided in the Report will only be based on the information initially provided on free initial check

• If you are not satisfied with the report or service provided, you are eligible to request a refund within 14 days. The money paid for the Report will only be refunded if the information in the report does not match the information provided in the free initial check.

3. NEVDIS Disclaimer

• Access to and use of data provided through the PPSR is subject to the PPSR terms of use and applicable third party data conditions

• To the extent permitted by law, all data provided through the PPSR is made available without any representation or warranty of any kind (without limitation in respect to accuracy) and the Commonwealth, and our third party data providers (which includes any person mentioned in the third party data conditions as providing information through the PPSR), have no liability to you in respect of any loss or damage that you might suffer no matter how arising (including negligence) that is directly or indirectly related to the NEVDIS data

• Vehicle information is requested from Austroads NEVDIS database for each transaction involving a vehicle VIN or chassis number on the PPSR. The data is not part of interests registered on the PPSR and it is presented without any guarantee regarding its accuracy

• The NEVDIS data is intended to assist users with checking that the VIN or chassis number they entered, along with information they have about the vehicle from other sources, is accurate and to provide users with any data held on NEVDIS about a vehicle’s stolen or written-off status

• A stolen vehicle notification, or the absence of one, does not necessarily mean a vehicle is or is not stolen. If there is a stolen vehicle notification you wish to enquire about, you should contact the police in the state or territory indicated immediately after the date in the notification. The reference number at the end of the notification should be quoted as a part of your enquiry. Please note that there may be multiple stolen notifications shown. A stolen notification can be for a VIN, plate, chassis and/or engine

4. Limitation of Liability

• The data in the report is only provided as general information and does not necessarily reflect the views of the Provider

• Before relying on the data in the Report, User should take the responsibility of independently verifying the data provided in the Report as well as seek appropriate independent professional advice

• To the full extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any loss or damage relating to User use of, or reliance on, Report. 

5. Privacy Policy Acknowledgment

• You agree you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. You must comply with the Privacy Policy (as revised by us from time to time). However, the Privacy Policy does not form part of these Terms and Conditions. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Terms and Conditions prevail

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• The Provider is the owner of all materials displayed on the Site, including, but not limited to text, materials, graphics, software and tool

• All disputes that arise between the Provider and User shall be resolved at the court of Provider’s domiciled country

• All complaints and/or requests regarding the activities or services of Site shall be sent directly to Provider’s email address: [email protected]

7. Access to the Site

• User must take his/her own precautions to ensure the security of his/her log-in details

• Provider does not accept any responsibility for any interference or damage to User’s computer system or data which arises in connection with User use of the Site 

8. Termination

• Provider may terminate User access to the Site at any time without reason and without notice. The Terms and Conditions survive any such termination
